  2. Hi, Here is an alternate method you can follow: 1. Click Case Classification or File Classification on the left navigation pane in your project. 2. Expand the desired classification by clicking on + sign on the classification displaying on right pane. 3. Right click on an attribute and click Delete to delete the attribute. If you want to delete an attribute value, click Attribute Properties instead. 4. On Attribute Properties window, go to Values tab. 5. Click in front of the value you want to delete. This will highlight the value row. 6. Click Remove and then click Ok. I hope this helps. Kind Regards, Bhupesh
  3. Hi Marcus, It is not possible to import an excel document as a Twitter dataset. However, you can use AutoCode Wizard to autocode hashtags and user mentions. You can right click on the imported dataset, click AutoCode, click Use the style or structure and choose 'code at nodes or cases for each value in a column' option to code to Hashtags. You can then use the same method to code to user mentions. Here is detailed information auto-coding datasets: http://help-nv11.qsrinternational.com/desktop/procedures/automatic_coding_in_dataset_sources.htm Kind Regards, Bhupesh

  8. Hi Ploomy, You should be Abel to capture twitter data using NCapture. NCapture creates a file for each captured webpage. The NCapture files have .nvcx extension and are saved to a folder on your computer. Please see the link for more information below: https://help-nv.qsrinternational.com/12/win/v12.1.70-d3ea61/Content/files/ncapture.htm Also, you should also be able to import and explore twitter data in NVivo. Please see the link for more information below: https://help-nv.qsrinternational.com/12/win/v12.1.70-d3ea61/Content/files/twitter-data.htm Unfortunately, you will not be able to save the NCapture files in .csv format. Regards, Akshay
  9. Hi Arwen, In order to view all the comments/codes, you will need to assign health condition as an attribute to the cases via case classification. Once you done this, you can run a Matrix Coding Query between an attribute value such as type 1 diabetes and open ended questions. I hope this helps.^AK
  10. Hi Charlotte, I can see that you have also been in contact via the support request form on our website. We have just sent you an email with some resolution steps. Can you please check your emails. Regards, Heather
  11. Hi, When merging nodes and references, provided that the references in both nodes are exactly the same then they should merge. However if a reference is slightly different, such as an extra space or from a different source with the same text then these duplicates may appear. This can be confirmed by viewing the source and coding stripes and highlight, to show which content is coded to a particular node. Another cause is if there are multiple users coding the same project, the you will also see a duplicate reference from the other user. If neither of these are the case, can you please submit a support request via the below link so that we can investigate further. https://qsrinternational.com/nvivo/contact-us/customer-support Regards, NVivoSup

  20. Hi Sarah, Another workaround is to run a Matrix Coding Query & open each cell of the matrix to copy the references to an Excel file manually. We use an online tool called Canny to gather all our customer feedback.May I request that you click on the following link https://nvivo.canny.io/ & share your feature suggestion here by creating a post. You can also vote on posts created by other NVivo users. When you post or vote on a feature, you will start receiving notifications via Canny on the planned/in progress/completed actions. 22. Hi Peter, It is not possible to merge or edit spreadsheets in NVivo however, it is possible to import the spreadsheets separately and link them. To link the spreadsheets, you need to ensure that first column of both the spreadsheets has names or unique identifiers for the students. This will help you code/classify both spreadsheets to the students. Refer to the link below for more information on working with Datasets/spreadsheets in NVivo & how to code from spreadsheets automatically: http://help-nv11.qsrinternational.com/desktop/concepts/approaches_to_analyzing_survey_results.htm Kind Regards, Bhupesh

  24. Hi, MacOS 10.14 introduced some new privacy and security features and for NVivo 11 for Mac to work with MacOS 10.14 Mojave, you will need to grant NVivo permission to control your computer. To do this, please follow the steps below: 1. Open System Preferences (Click Launchpad > System preferences or select the System Preferences icon from the dock) 2. Select Security & Privacy 3. Select the Privacy tab and then select Accessibility 4. Click the lock icon to make changes and enter your password if prompted to do so. 5. If NVivo doesn't show under "Allow the apps below to control your computer", click the’+’ icon and then select NVivo from the Applications folder. 6. Ensure there is a tick in front of NVivo application icon. You should now be able to close System Preferences and launch NVivo. Note, if the above permissions are not granted, NVivo will fail to launch. Kind Regards, Bhupesh
