  1. Hi all, I have tried to find an answer to my query and have found a number of things similar to what I am looking for, but not quite the answer, so I am hoping someone might be able to help with my specific problem? I have used Nvivo to generate nodes across 91 academic papers. I can see which papers (sources) are related to which nodes, and by using the chart function, I can see all nodes that appear in a single source. However, I would like to see which nodes appear in a group of sources i.e. papers with the same academic background, which I can manually group/select. Ideally, I would like to be able to generate the same kind of chart that I have done for a single source, but for a group of sources - is this possible? The chart is not necessary though, so if there is a way to just generate a list of all nodes within a group of papers, that would be fine too (preferably with the percentage coverage included though). I hope that makes sense, but please do ask for more info if it is not clear. Thanks, Phil
  2. Redo button

How is there still no redo option? I just accidentally lost a whole summary paragraph that I had just written, because Nvivo decided that that much writing was one single action, and I now have to rewrite the whole thing.
  3. Syncing with Google Drive

Thanks Can. I have to admit that after posting this question I actually started to suspect this might have been the problem. Thanks for confirming.
  4. I've been using Nvivo for the past three weeks and it is proving to be very useful, however, I have now lost a number of days time due to an apparent problem syncing to google drive. My project is held in a google drive folder, partly due to its size (150MB), but mainly because I work across three sites and use two different computers. On at least two occasions I have saved my days work and waited to ensure that the file completes its upload/sync to google drive. But when I start work the next day at a different office, the previous days work is not there. I then return to my original computer to find that the project file has been moved to the recycle bin! So this is clearly not a simple case of not waiting for the sync to finish, because I cannot explain how the file has been automatically moved to the recycle bin and not updated on google drive twice! Has anyone had any similar issues, or have any advice on how to rectify this as it is starting to cause considerable disruption, and is not viable in the long run. Thanks, Phil
