  1. I recently upgraded to the latest version of NVivo 12 for Windows. I manage multiple teams using older versions of NVivo for both windows and mac. Recently a colleague sent their mac file which was created in an older version of Mac windows, which I need to convert to windows version for analysis. Nvivo gave an error message that the file could not be converted as it was created by an older or newer version of NVivo. Should there not be backwards compatibility in converting files if you own the latest version? Please advise, thanks. Shabab Wahid George Washington University
