  1. For some reason, I can't drop text onto nodes to code them. All of my files are pdfs but I tried with a word document and it doesn't work either. If it makes a difference, I am running it on a mac using a simulator.
  2. Hello, I have created a number of classification nodes and linked them to PDF documents. When I link any pdf an unexplained number of references appear next to each one of the nodes. I am the only user of the NVivo project so no one else codes besides me. When I check where these references correspond to, 50% is always linked to the whole body of the pdf document followed by much smaller percentages link to blank entries. Any ideas? Thank you
  3. I have imported PDF files as sources into a project and coded them as nodes at the time of import. I notice that for each article NVivo reports 1 node and multiple references (usually 9-12) When I run a matrix query it returns reference totals rather than article totals (e.g., 73 articles generated 702 references distributed across the attribute values). How do I get to artilcle totals? I can convert to percentage but then longer articles (I'm guessing) will count more than shorter ones (or whatever determines the number of references). Can't find any information about this issue. Thanks for any and all help.
