  1. Hi, I would like to limit the sources displayed in an Explore Diagram by setting a certain attribute value (say I only want to see the papers in a reference collection of a certain year that all have been coded with a particular node). Is there a way to achieve this? Thanks for looking at this Regards, Robert
  2. Apologies if the answer to this is in your extensive Help and online tutorials - but I've looked and so far been unable to find an answer. I'm classifying nodes which represent my interview participants. I want to import demographic data for each participant (age, income, education level etc). This info is in Excel, but during data entry was entered into the spreadsheet as a number rather than the value (ie Education level had 5 possible responses (1,2,3,4, or 5) which correspond to 1= up to Year 10, 2=Year 12, 3=TAFE etc). I want to import the data from this spreadsheet, but want it to be appear (under Attribute Value) in NVivo using the appropriate education level not the number that was used in the spreadsheet. I can see that under New Attribute you can specify the Value, but I don't want the Value to be 1,2,3,4 or 5 - I want it to be 'Up to Year 10', 'Year 12' etc. Can I import the data as is (ie as numbers) and then change it to the 'descriptive' attribute value that I want to use in NVivo? Or do I have to make the changes in my original Excel spreadsheet? Many thanks Andrea
