Hi! I am struggling in setting up my Nvivo project. I use multiple case studies methods (sample of 20), and I am comparing different reports (CEO, Chairman) from the same text. I would like to compare my data. I assume with an example it wil be easier ORGANISATIONS 1 coding CEO report + coding chairman report + coding board skills ORGANISATIONS 2 coding CEO report + coding chairman report + coding board skills ORGANISATIONS 3 coding CEO report + coding chairman report + coding board skills I would like to: both 1 analyse each organisational independently to identify which strategy they follow 2 compare them (which codes occur in the ceo reports of different organisations) I assume each organisation is a CASE, but what shall I do with different report? is each ceo reports a node? thanks a lot for your help

In case study approach, if a research consists multiple units of analyses, Yin, Robert K. (2018) outlines an embedded case study design. Since each embedded unit has its own different characteristics, many researchers end up creating different Nvivo projects for each of them. In this video I tried to explain why it is a good idea to consider creating a single Nvivo project in such a scenario and how to structure it. I attached the sample project file for your reference. I hope this helps, Please share your ideas using "write a review" button bleow. Regards, Single context embedded design.nvp
Hi, I have a fairly simple question but I am stock so any help would be welcomed! I did a qualitative research for my doctorate in organizational psychology. I have two data gathering and I am looking to put the 2 verbatim under the same case. I started by importing the T1 of verbatim and made them into a case. Now, I dont find a way to had the T2 verbatim to the case. I need to do it in order to complete my intracase analysis! Am I clear? Thanks everyone for your help! Emilie
Hello, In my case study research I have five different cases. Each case is a different school location. Within each of those cases, I have interviews, focus groups, print material etc. These I have coded. How do I produce a report that reveals which codes are associated with each of the separate cases (school locations)? In other words, the same codes are used across all of the cases, but I need to be able to report on each separate case. Thank you!
