I imported an excel datasheet that has both node classification data as well as codable, narrative fields. I would like to keep adding to this datasheet. After importing, the "layout" ribbon has "add rows". But it is greyed out and not usable. How does one make a table in an internal to add rows, or, simply edit an imported datasheet? The function is there, so clearly it does something. -
Hi ! I’m working with qualitativ data of a longitudinal study and need some help with Nvivo. I have a datasheet (excel) with study number of participant in the first column and answer to a question in the second column. I wonder if it’s possible to make appear the study number (which is in column 1) as name of source for each reference I code ? Each study number is related to demographic variables as sex, age, etc. So in my final report I’ll need to see, for each node, parts of answers with the study number to know if it’s from a woman, man, and how old they are. How can I do that ? Is there a way to get the « study number » (which is in column 1) as name of source for each reference even if all numbers are lines in the same excel sheet ?
