Hello everyone, If you are performing a longitudinal study with your research, you would have multiple observations/interviews of your participants performed at a certain time. This will bring you multiple files for a specific participant. In such a situation, you would need to follow a slightly different case creation process in Nvivo. In this video I tried to show to how you can assign multiple files to a case so that you can create case attributes and perform queries for each participant's attribute values. I hope this will be helpful. Regards,
  2. Hello, We are currently conducting a study using Nvivo to assist us with the analysis and plan to do so over a period of several waves. We were wondering if anyone knew of any examples where this has been done before and to see how others have done so. Thanks, Chira
  3. Hi ! I’m working with qualitativ data of a longitudinal study and need some help with Nvivo. I have a datasheet (excel) with study number of participant in the first column and answer to a question in the second column. I wonder if it’s possible to make appear the study number (which is in column 1) as name of source for each reference I code ? Each study number is related to demographic variables as sex, age, etc. So in my final report I’ll need to see, for each node, parts of answers with the study number to know if it’s from a woman, man, and how old they are. How can I do that ? Is there a way to get the « study number » (which is in column 1) as name of source for each reference even if all numbers are lines in the same excel sheet ? I hope you’ll understand me and thank you for your help. Sarah
