I use Zotero as my ref manager. I am trying to import a series of PDFs into NVivo for OS X to use for a literature review. No matter what format I use to export my selection of articles from Zotero, I cannot import them into NVivo. Half of the time I can't get the software to accept the bibliographic index file. When it does accept the format and the "import assistant" comes up, I get the error: "Import Error: Unable to parse bibliographic data file." Can't start my work without getting these articles into NVivo. Any ideas? Using version 12.5.0 which is the latest.

To Whom It May Concern, I think that Nvivo 10 could be exactly what I need to help me manage my lit reviews, but it will be exceedingly tedious to import my references from my manager (Zotero) one at a time manually. It would be such an improvement in the usability of the software for Mac to have the import feature that is available in the Windows version. I just thought I would point that out, since I haven't seen anyone else asking for that particular feature on the forum yet. I don't do much qualitative research (certainly none involving interviews and the like), but lit reviews are common across fields in academia, so I doubt I'm alone in wanting to use Nvivo for that purpose. Thanks for your time, Chris PS: I originally posted this in the wrong forum and have deleted the content of that post, replacing it with a message to this effect. Thanks, C
