Hello I'm hoping that someone can help as I've stumbled across an issue... I have imported some PDFs and Word documents into Nvivo 12 (Mac version) and have begun to code the text within these docs. I would like to use the arrow keys to scroll through the document but Nvivo doesn't seem to have this facility. Instead, I am using the touchpad and scroll bar on the side of the document, however no matter how slow or carefully I scroll, the documents seem to jump from page to page meaning that I'm never sure if I've seen all of the text on any given page. Is there a setting I can change to make the scrolling function smooth rather than jumpy? Many thanks to all, Olivia
atharqureshi posted a topic in NVivo for WindowsI have been facing this painful difficulty when I try to scroll using the mouse wheel in different NVivo docked or un-docked windows. I always HAVE TO CLICK on a particular window first and then scroll through mouse wheel. Whereas, the expectation is that, scrolling must enable by default to whichever window my mouse pointer is. That will make coding life easy when you have hundred of pages to code, and have 10s of main and sub nodes window opened. It's just a pain. KINDLY help improve, or guide if this feature already exist.
It would be nice if the text editor window for writing memos would automatically scroll to keep the cursor on the page. As I'm typing, when I get to the bottom of the window, the cursor disappears off the bottom, rather than having the text scroll automatically to keep the cursor visible.
