Hello, I am trying to run word frequency queries. I have an issue with some words that I'd like to aggregate in my queries, and then in the word clouds and clusters I get. Is it possible? And is it possible to personnalize word frequency queries by creating personalized groupings? Thanks much for your help,

Hello, I am trying to run word frequency queries. I have an issue with some words. A simple example (I have others): woman and women appear separately even when I change the grouping options. I'd like to aggregate woamn and women in my query, and then in the word clouds and clusters I get. Is it possible? And is it possible to personnalize word frequency queries by creating personalized groupings? Thanks much for your help,

Hi Team I have three word dictionaries containing several hundred words of different types. I would like to find the frequency of words of each type in a pdf. Is there a way of importing the lists to Nvivo for performing a word frequency query? Thank you.

Hi all, I'm trying to create a word cloud for my project which examines the word frequencies of ~1000 pdfs. I'm looking at "stemmed" words, and I get this one problem that I can't seem to fix, for example the word "data" is my most frequent word, but the displayed word in the first column is " data" " with the ". In the "similar words" column "data" is there. Now if I choose to display the word column 'data"' will be displayed not "data". Does anyone know if there is there a way to change which word of the similar words selected is actually used in the word cloud? I've attached an image to make my issue clearer. Thanks.

I am not sure how interpret the cluster analysis of a word frequency query, specifically the relationships depicted in a horizontal dendrogram. The help file says: The Cluster Analysis tab displays up to 100 words as a horizontal dendrogram, where words that co-occur are clustered together. I am not sure what "co-occur" means.

Hello As I'm using NVivo in language that will possibly not be included in the near future (Estonian ), I would like to be able to help the Word Frequency Query by adding the synonyms together myself, by hand, in order to create automatic tag cloud. And before that, it would be great if there was an option to say to the program to what extent from the beginning of the word it should match to others At the moment the system is able to match (if the scale is set to similar, including generalizations) words that have one additional letter at the end, such as: 'osakonna' and 'osakonnas' but is not able to match all the rest of the cases like osakonnast, osakonnaks, osakonnad although 8 letters from the beginning are exactly the same. Not to mention osakondi, osakondadesse, osakondadele, osakondadega, osakondade, osakonda, osakond (osakond=department), which are a bit different cases of the word. Is there a chance for you to create those two options for non-English/Spanish/etc use? But I can say that I love this program, it makes coding so much easier to handle Thank you! Age
