'Bubble graph' for association between nodes?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,
Just wondering - I've finally worked out how to analyse overlap / associations / relationship (you chose your preferred term) between nodes by running a matrix query and then charting the results:

http://forums.qsrinternational.com/index.php?showtopic=5428

This does the trick for the analysis I want/need to do, HOWEVER, I also wanted to be able to create what I refer to as a 'bubble graph' - with the most important nodes that show relationships as bubbles with links showing their association. I can't work out how to do this, and it may be Nvivo does not do.
Any thoughts?
Any help much much much appreciated!
Thanks
Henk

Hi Henk,

NVivo does offer some visualization tools, however I don’t believe they are powerful enough for what you are looking to do. I recommend taking a look at the following link to see if there is anything there that may work for you: http://help-nv10.qsrinternational.com/desktop/concepts/move_forward_with_queries_and_visualizations.htm

In the past we have seen people export their data out of NVivo to an Excel spreadsheet, and then do the visualisations there as they off more flexability.

Cheers, Tane
