Senta 0
Hi, I am very new to Nvivo and really appreciate the possibilities. I am using it for my literature review. A lot of papers have references at the end and I am wondering if there is an option to find common references? For example: Paper 1 lists three references: 1) Paper A from Author A in Journal J, 2) Paper B from Author B in Journal H, 3) Paper C from Author A in Journal H Paper 2 lists two references: 1) Paper A from Author A in Journal J, 2) Paper D from Author C in Journal H Paper A seems to be very important in this area, hence I would like to read this paper. Is there any way to find out the most cited papers in my literature list? Or see the most cited authors, or journals? Thank you very much in advance, Senta
QSRSupport 92
Hi Senta, Source Classification can be used to achieve something closer to what you are after. Refer to the link below for detailed information on Source Classification: http://help-nv10.qsrinternational.com/desktop/procedures/create_source_classifications.htm Once the papers have been classified, you may be able to use Search Folders option to find the information you are looking for: http://help-nv10.qsrinternational.com/desktop/procedures/create_and_customize_search_folders.htm Kind Regards, Bhupesh
