File Classifications

Recommended Posts

Guest Adam VL

Hey guys — using NVivo 12 for Mac to code a number of transcripts, and hoping to attach name/location/date to each, to be able to make comparisons over time, etc.

Having trouble with File Classification sheets — the existing files never seem to be found, whether the source files (transcripts) are imported before or after the classification sheet.

I've imported a CSV with names identical to the file names, but they never merge.  I've tried adding to an existing classification with attributes for each column, or creating a new classification — nothing seems to work.  How can I use a .csv to actually add metadata to the files I have (or can import)?

Thanks!
