Maral 0
Hello! I just started using Nvivo and I'm having some troubles with the references. I have imported my excel sheet and started coding. However, I noticed Nvivo is coding references but all of them under 1 file (e.g. Nvivo is not classifying each person separately, all data is treated as one). I tried several things but it is still in the format of: file:1 references:5. I need to see how many participants are in each node and not just how many references are in it. Does anyone have any guidance on this? Thanks! MJ.
QSRSupport 92
Hi Maral, As the single file is being coded at once, the number of files is showing as 1. NVivo would also have created separate cases for each participant cell in your excel sheet. To see number of participants in each node, you could run a Matrix Coding query between your cases and nodes. You can also export the resulting Matrix as a spreadsheet. https://help-nv.qsrinternational.com/20/mac/Content/queries/matrix-coding-query.htm Kind Regards, Bhupesh
