Error message when importing a project: This SplTransaction has completed; it is no longer usable.

Most of the time when I import one project into another one, it works just fine. Sometimes, however, I get the following error message. Both projects are able to open on their own, so I do not believe that the files are corrupted. Below is the entire text in the problem report. What to do when I get these messages?
