smileggd 0
I am coding video data and have uploaded a text transcript (via Import>Transcript Rows) to accompany it. My collaborators have coded the transcript, rather than the video itself, and we are now trying to calculate IRR (via coding comparison query), but it's showing up empty results. I'd assumed this query was possible to run, as we have coded text data (being, the transcript rows), but perhaps not. So: Is it possible to calculate IRR on coded transcript row text in NVivo for Mac? If not, how would you suggest doing this IRR calculation outside NVivo in a way that avoids recoding the data? QSRSupport 92
Hi, The empty results are most likely due to the fact that our Mac version supports Coding Comparison in text documents only. Coding comparison isn't supported for other files types such as audio/video transcripts, excel files, pictures. Kind Regards, Bhupesh
