How do I rename a file (NVivo 12, MacBook Air)?

Recommended Posts

Hi Amy,

Are you wanting to rename your project file, or Documents or other files within your project?

To rename your project file you can close NVivo and then use Finder to rename the file by right-clicking on the project file and then selecting ‘Rename’. Your project files are normally saved in your Documents folder on your Mac.

To rename a document within your project, right-click on the document within NVivo and select ‘Get Info’. You can change the name and description for the file in this window. Alternatively, you can click on the file to select it and then click File > Get Info in the menu bar.

Kind regards,
