Finding instances of code in large doc

Recommended Posts

I have a large doc with several instances of a code. I need to edit the code. Is there an easy way to jump between instances of a code within one document? Currently I have to scroll and scan for each instance. "Go to" doesn't seem to do this.

Hi Darren,

You could turn on coding stripes or highlighting for your code to make it easy to find the next place it is coded in your document.

You could also run a coding query to find everything in the document that has been coded to that code. Information on how to run a coding query can be found at https://help-nv.qsrinternational.com/20/mac/Content/queries/coding-query.htm

In your case you would want to search in Selected Items and then choose your document, and then when defining your criteria select all of these codes and choose your code.
